Out client is an multinational company, specializing in the design and manufacturing of sensors, systems, and components for the automation and control of industrial processes.
The Field Sales Engineer will have the responsibility to develop our sensor and automation components business in the assigned area.
- Active search for potential customers in the defined market segments
- Acquisition of new prospects through phone, visits and exhibition contacts
- Building of a network within the aimed market segments
- Management of sales funnel and systematic follow-up
- Fast growth of sales (> 250 k€ within first 12 months)
- Regular reports to management
- Development of new accounts to increase market share
- Increase awareness, interest and preference for our product portfolio at existing and new customers and with decision makers
- Present information about new products at decision makers
- Maximize target penetration, geographic coverage and financial returns by measuring sales partners performance
- Provide general technical advice
- Keep records and compile reports on all phases of activities regarding customer interaction
- Provide constant feedback and maintaining ongoing opportunities on CRM
- Quantity and quality of generated leads
- Turnover and margin growth of the targeted customer segments and product lines
- Customer satisfaction
Electrical/Mechatronic engineer or technician
at least 2 years of experience in field sales
German Mother Tongue knowledge is a must
fluent English is mandatory
- Conducting a commercial negotiation and programming the commercial offer
- Experienced in promotion and sales activity
- Good knowledge in sensors and automation components
- Ability to build good commercial relation with different kind of customers (small, medium, large accounts).
- IT-skills: MS-Office, standard software, preferably SAP and CRM (SalesForce)
Specific training or knowledge of sensors (pressure, position, load cells) and automation componets (power controller, solid state relais, temperature controller)
